Lichti & Astroh that's us: winemaker's couple Freya Lichti and Alexander Strohschneider.
Lichti & Astroh is our joint wine project on which we have been working since 2018/19 in Laumersheim in the Palatinate.
After aging for more than one year, the first four wines were ready to taste in December 2020. In November 2021 we founded our own wine trade ( lichti & asroh ) for our wines.
We are very excited about our first vintage from our own vineyards in Leistadt and Laumersheim. The wines are still fermenting and bubbling more or less loudly in our vaulted cellar in Herxheim...
In June 2023 we bottled the first 2022 wines: rosé and dry riesling from the base line. The 2022 single-vineyard wines are nearly all availlable now.

... grew up in Laumersheim on his parents' winery, studied International Management in Reutlingen and Reims, then a Master's degree in wine business in Montpellier, completed an internship at Champagne Boizel and Reidemeister & Ulrichs in Bremen, then a winemaker's apprenticeship at the Lebenshilfe Bad Dürkheim winery and at Dr. Bürklin-Wolf in Wachenheim, after completing the winemaker's exam in 2015, a permanent position at Dr. Bürklin-Wolf until May 2019 with responsibility for biodynamics and assisting the field manager ...
